Information collected automatically

When you visit SSD.HELP, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically collects standard server log data, which may include:

• Your IP address
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Pages visited and time spent
• Referring URL (the page that linked you here)
• Date and time of your visit

This data is collected by Netlify and governed by Netlify’s Privacy Policy. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics on this site.

We use the information you submit exclusively to:

• Evaluate your potential disability claim — A licensed attorney reviews your submission to determine whether we may be able to assist you.

We do not use your information for marketing unrelated to your case evaluation, and we do not sell your information.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Within H David Hicks Attorney at Law PLLC d/b/a Hicks Law Firm — Staff members who assist with case intake and evaluation will have access to your submission.
• Service providers — We use Netlify to host this website and process form submissions. Netlify stores form data on our behalf and is bound by its own privacy and security commitments. See Netlify’s Privacy Policy.
• Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our firm or others.
• With your consent — We will not share your information for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

We retain form submission data for as long as necessary to evaluate your case and comply with our professional and legal obligations, including the two-year advertising record retention requirement under Kentucky SCR 3.130(7.20)(6). If no attorney-client relationship is formed, we will retain your basic contact information for a reasonable period and then delete or anonymize it.

If an attorney-client relationship is formed, your information will be retained in accordance with Kentucky Rules of Professional Conduct governing client files.

Form submissions on SSD.HELP are transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Netlify stores submission data in a secure environment. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

SSD.HELP is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
